Our Story
Hello! I'm Arfa from India, and I offer 100% silk(zijde) yarn, ideal for hobby projects like knitting, crocheting, and embroidery. Our yarn is sourced from India, including unique products like Sari Silk yarn. This yarn is crafted from recycled fibres left over from saree production. These fibres are twisted and wound onto a spindle to form a yarn or skein, which is then processed into a convenient ball for easier use.
The other yarns I offer are crafted from Silk Cocoons. The process begins by boiling the cocoons in hot water, after which about 15 to 20 strands are drawn together to form a single strand of pure silk. This raw silk has a natural pale white colour with a shiny, glossy finish. It is then twisted to achieve different thicknesses based on its intended use and dyed into the vibrant colours you see here.
